With sad heart the staff and management of the Agnew Funeral Home sadly announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Fields on April 7, 2023 at the UAB Hospital Birmingham, Al., He is preceded in death by his parents Hattie Fields and James Lee Jemison. His maternal grandparents Ed and Emma Fields, his paternal grandparents Alphonso and Mattie Jemison, aunt Maggie Collins, (3) uncles Alfred Fields Sr., Eugene Fields, and Abraham Jemison.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memories: (6) brothers; Alexander (Linda) Fields of Moundville, Al., Marcus (Ebony) Benison of Moundville, Al., Brian and Marvin Benison of Greensboro, AL., Wilie Shawn Burrell, Herbert (Wanda) Horton of Tuscaloosa, Al., (1) sister Mattie Rhodes of Detroit, MI., a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A devoted cousin and sister Margaret Alexander of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Agnew Funeral Home Chapel 1110 Baptist Hill, Greensboro, AL. 36744.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Matthew Church Baptist Cemetery Sawyerville, Al.
