OBITUARY
AGNEW FUNRAL HOME announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Sister Louise Cockrell on July 7, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Al. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Long. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Alice L. Long of Greensboro, Al: two sons Samuel E. Cockrell (Alice) and William A. Cockrell both of Tuscaloosa, Al. Two sisters, Ruth Cockell of Colorado and Harriet Cockrell Colton (David) of Iowa; a brother Walter Cockrell (Eldred) of New York; daughters in law, Bridget Long of Huntsville, Al; April Cockrell of Tuscaloosa, Al; 5 grandchilden, Michael Dedric Long of Greensboro, Al. Kelvin Long(Sherry) of York, Al; Brianna Long of Huntsville, Al; Sabrina Cockrell of Tuscaloosa, Al; and Michael James Long of Colorado;great grandchildren Kelvin Long; JaZahria Long; JaCoby Gater, Chuan Davis and JaLiyah Long and a host of nieces, nephew, and cousins. 1 devoted cousin Samuel Jolly.
VISITATION was held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 12:00 noon til 5:00 pm at The Agnew Funeral Home 1110 Baptist Hill Greensboro, Al 36744.
SERVICE was held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 12:00 noon at The Agnew Funeral Home Chapel and final arrangements were held a The New Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Greensboro, Al 36744.
