OBITUARY

The staff and management of The Agnew Funeral Home announce with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Ms. Mary L. Long, who was born on June 15, 1945 to the late Louis and Louise Long of Sawyerville, Al.

Ms. Mary Long entered into eternal rest on March 6, 2023 at the Bryan Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis, Alabama. She leaves to cherish her memories (2) sisters Cora L. Embrey (Cleveland, Ohio) Bertha Crosby (Buffalo, New York) (9) children (Barbara (Evans) Benison of Sawyerville, AL., Curtis (Lola) Jones of Birmingham, AL., Johnny (Faith) Long of St. Roberts Missouri,  Alberta (Leon) Sheffield of Eutaw, AL., Hoover (Leslie) Long of Greensboro, AL., Alvin (Latonya) Long of Tuscaloosa, AL., Linda Long of Greensboro, AL., Rudolph Long of Sawyerville, AL., and Cedric Long of Marietta, GA., (27) grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

VISITATION

Will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the the Agnew Funeral Home Chapel. 1110 Baptist Hill Greensboro, Al. 36744 From 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m.  Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in the Agnew Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. and interment will follow at the Long Burial Site 579 Sunflower Lane, Sawyerville, AL.
