Clarence Life story: Brother Clarence Tubbs was born to the late Joe Ceffer Tubbs and Emma Cannon on October 21, 1937. He departed this earthly life on December 19, 2024 at the Diversicare Health Nursing Home in Marion, Alabama. He confessed Christ in his early years. Mr. Clarence Tubbs was a hardworking man of many talents. Mr. Clarence Tubbs was married to Mrs. Mattie Mae Ford Tubbs in the gathering of their union they were blessed with six children. Clarence Tubbs was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Ford Tubbs; one sister, Clara Thomas; two brothers, Joe Ceffer and Bozy Tubbs; two sons, Ronnie T. Tubbs and Kurt Tubbs; one daughter, Beverly Smith; a son-in law, Samuel Greene. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his children, Clarence (Carolyn) Suttles, Glenn (Dorothy) Tubbs, Diane (Leon) Hester, Brenda Tubbs and Sandra Greene; twenty grandchildren; a host of great grands; one sister, Evelyn (Elijah) Lee; a sister-in-law, Eva Lou Cannon; a daughter-in-love, Alma Tubbs; one nephew, Bucsh Lee; a special niece, Ruth Dolly Powell; he had a special relationship with his grandsons; he had a special relationship with his great grandson, Roderiqueze Curry affectionally “Pooky”; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Will be held at Agnew Funeral Home 1110 Baptist Hill Greensboro, Al 36744 at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 4, 2024.
