GENEVA'S LIFE STORY: Geneva Brasfield Thomas was born on March 5, 1954, to the late Laura J. Brasfield and the late Reverend Isiah Brasfield. She con fessed Christ at an early age. She left this earthly life on August 4, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical center. Geneva is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Vester Wilson; and two sisters, Dorothy Brasfield and Nettie L. Floyd. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Matthew Thomas of New York; two sons, Marcus Small of Huntsville, Alabama and Ronald Anderson, ii (Alexis Davis) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; three daughters, Latrisia Small of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Markita Small of Northport, Alabama, and Bessie Small of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; three brothers, Isiah Brasfield (Bertha) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Joseph Brasfield (Ethel) of Akron, Alabama, and Larry Brasfield (Towanna) of Terre Haute, Indiana; two sisters, Arthurine palmer of Akron, Alabama, and Dora Miller (Jessee) of Sawyerville, Alabama; 19 grand children, 16 great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends; three special nephews, Kendall Brasfield, Scottie Brasfield, and Aaron Terry; and a special niece, Yolanda Halsell.
