NELLIE'S LIFE STORY: Nellie Harris was born on May 12, 1942, to the late Mr. Willie and Mrs. Betric Harris in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Nellie Harris joined church at an early age. She was a member of Bethlehem A. M. E., Church in Glen Hill, Alabama. Nellie Harris transitioned from this world to her heavenly home on March 30, 2025. She leaves behind a lifelong partner, Charles Patton, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Lilley Harris of New Jersey; one brother, Oscar (Johnnie Mae) Mahan of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Dorothy Jackson.
PUBLIC VIEWING: Friday, April 4, 2025, at Agnew Funeral Home at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
FUNERAL SERVICES: Grave Service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Akron New Cemetery Gewin Street Akron, Alabama 35441 Reverend Eric Prewitt, Officiating
