ANNIE'S LIFE STORY: Ms. Annie M. “BaBa” Hunter was born June 20, 1940 to Woodrow Hunter and Lillian B. Hunter, the oldest of ten children in Sawyerville, Alabama. She left for her eternal journey on March 29, 2025 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She confessed Christ at a very young age and joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church where she remained until her health began to fail. She was Secretary for many, many years, served on the Usher Board and sanged in the choir. “Ba-Ba” as she was known to many, “Sis”; “Auntie”; “Tee Tee”; and “Momma”, she was that person. Ba-Ba was preceded in death by both of her parents, Woodrow and Lillian B. Hunter; her oldest son, Darrell D. Hunter; her brothers, Woodrow (June); Joshua (Bro.); Willie James and Clarence “Cannon Ball” hunter. Ba-Ba leaves to cherish her loving memories: a son, Wayne Huner of Sawyerville, Alabama; a sister, Cora H.
