SHAQUAN LIFE STORY'S Shaquan (Shay) Nixon was born on January 17th. 1992 to Belinda Lee and Burdie Sanders. She entered eternal rest on June 26th 2025 at the DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, AL. She attended Greensboro East High School and later obtained her GED. Her warmth, kindness and gentle spirit will be missed. She was a member of the Bible Way True
Holiness Church, Greensboro, AL under the leadership of Pastor Annie B. Lee. She was preceded in death by grandmother, Molly Thomas; a grandfather, Richard (TJ) Rhodes; an uncle, Morris Thomas; and an aunt, Nancy Anderson. Shay leaves to cherish her precious memories:
her mother, Belinda (Ricky) Lee; her father, Burdie (Mary) Sanders; a sister, Shalena Sanders; a brother, Patrick Sanders; grandmothers, Leaner Mae Sanders and Annie B. Lee; a grandfather, Will Henry Lee; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends
